Navigating the Diagnostic Odyssey

Tools for those on the diagnostic journey

I remember the spiral of questions: Is this really happening? What if it’s as bad as I think it is? What am I going to do?

We’ve all been there—that terrifying moment you hear they need to start testing for something serious, and it feels like the walls and your heart are caving in at the exact same time.

I cannot fix the pain of those moments. But I can offer you the tools below. My hope is that they bring you a moment of clarity and peace. Let them serve as a gentle reminder that even when you are sitting alone in a quiet waiting room, or lying awake in the dark begging for sleep, you are not journeying down this path by yourself.

Many have traveled this road before you, and many will follow.

Circle of Control

Helping you think through areas of focus

When navigating chronic stress, caregiving, or overwhelming life transitions, the weight of our worries can feel heavy. This exercise is designed to help you identify what is yours to manage, spaces that you have some influence and the areas in which you have no control. The goal is to empower you in the places that you have some control and gently releasing what you have no control over, even when acknowledging that lack of control is hard
